The opportunity
Do you enjoy working with gooey-goopey materials in a controlled way to make cool and complex things? Do you love teaching people how to make things? We are looking for someone whose primary skills are in casting and mould making to work in our wider 3D workshops team. Your skills will reflect contemporary and traditional mold making practices within a Fine Art and Design context.
Moulds will be used for a variety of end processes and products which include ceramics, bronze, plaster polymers, silicone and other rubbers etc… We’d love you to help us work with sustainable materials and safe processes. This role works across a few resources and work alongside the resident technicians within those spaces. Therefore, strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
