The opportunity
We are looking for film-makers and filming technicians who have experience in the field, but who also have experience in teaching filming at University level.
The successful candidate will help undergraduate Graphic Design Communication students realise their filming projects. This will be done via a series of workshops introducing them to the various pre-, during and post-production processes, and by providing practical guidance and support in using appropriate equipment and software.
About you
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in:
– Film theory and making
– Moving image storytelling
– Narrative structures
– Film editing
– Film pre-production workflow
– Film post-production workflow
– Magic Camera operation
– Filming techniques
– Knowledge of digital and analogue filming techniques, studio lighting, outside lighting
– Knowledge of post-production techniques
– Knowledge of FinalCut Pro and AfterEffects.
