The opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled and experienced academic to join the M School at CSM. As the Academic Quality and Enhancement Coordinator you will play a key role in the development and management of this new school. You will work closely with colleagues from the Fashion and Jewellery, Textiles & Materials Programmes, with the Associate Dean of Quality, the College Quality team and the college community. 

About you

We are looking for is someone who is closely engaged with fashion, textiles and design culture, with relevant qualifications, experience of academic leadership and quality and enhancement processes and procedures. You will be expected to have experience of managing teams, budgets, content and complex activities in an HE setting. Creative and highly motivated, you’ll be able to drive curriculum development, and oversee quality assurance and student enhancement activities across a diverse range of disciplines. 

Your Profile:

  • You have experience of teaching and managing a team at Higher Education level, with subject knowledge relevant to the M School Programmes and Courses.  
  • You have a PGCert (or equivalent) qualification, and previous experience of curriculum development and managing quality and student enhancement initiatives.  
  • You are committed to improving the student experience. 
  • You can communicate with a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way. 
  • You are able to innovate and develop practical solutions to new or unique problems.
