The opportunity
London College of Fashion (LCF) is looking for an academic with Higher Education experience to join us as a College Admissions Tutor. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a positive applicant experience and to inspire the next generation of creatives at University of the Arts London (UAL).
In this role, you will provide academic oversight of the offer making process to applicants across a Subject Area / School / Programme / Course. You will ensure sufficient academic offers are made to meet student intake targets, and that academic decision making is made swiftly, consistently and within agreed turnaround times.
Collaborating closely with Course teams, other Colleges and the Admissions Service, you will create a network of cross-subject connections to ensure the cross-referral of unsuccessful applicants and to support alternative academic decision making.
In some cases, you will also support the work of marketing and recruitment teams with progression activities to enhance the pipeline of applicants to UAL courses.

About you
You will possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, as well as experience of teaching and assessment in a Higher Education environment.
You will provide evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of relevant subject activity and is relevant to the goals of the Programme, College and University.
You will also demonstrate an awareness of the regulatory framework for HE academic awards and quality standards.
The ability to work effectively with a wide range of people is essential, as is your capability to plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively.
