The opportunity
If you are an experienced administrator looking for a rewarding new role, then University of the Arts London (UAL) has an exciting opportunity for you.
As part of our Counselling, Health Advice and Chaplaincy team, you will respond to inquiries from students, staff and external parties, providing detailed information and advice on student counselling and health advice issues.
In addition to this, you will undertake a range of administrative responsibilities including:
- Booking student appointments and maintaining the service database and calendar
- Maintaining confidential and accurate electronic records
- Administering student satisfaction and evaluation systems
- Supporting student wellbeing workshops, staff training and health promotion events
You will also work closely with your colleagues to develop and enhance systems, including online forms, the Customer Relationship Management system, appointments bookings and calendar systems, helping to develop and improve our services.
About you
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, you will need an advanced knowledge of IT applications, including Microsoft Office 365, as well as knowledge of student support issues in Further and Higher Education.
You will possess demonstrable experience of providing and developing administrative support that is customer focussed, caring and inclusive and will be capable of working sensitively with people who may be in difficulty or distress.
In addition to this, you will also need experience with databases, tailored business systems or case management software.
