Administrative Assistant – Centre for Sustainable Fashion
Part-time, 21 hours per week
Fixed term contract for 1 year
University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.
Within the London College of Fashion – a leading global provider of fashion education, research and consultancy – sits the Centre for Sustainable Fashion. The Centre works both within the college and with external partners and collaborators across academia, the creative sector, government departments and the wider fashion industry to create new visions for the practice and processes involved in fashion. You will find yourself at the centre of our valuable work as you provide important support to the Director for Sustainable Fashion. Your role will include dealing with enquiries from students, staff, researchers and members of the general public, keeping our website updated, meeting and greeting visitors, helping with events and performing general administrative duties.
You will need both relevant administrative experience and a good knowledge of sustainable fashion for this role. It is vital that you have good organisational and communication skills, plus strong IT ability (including experience of Photoshop/ Illustrator and Web 2.0 technologies). You will have experience of writing reports and editing visual and written presentations.
