Part time, FTE 0.6
2 years fixed term
Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design
Why choose us?
University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.
Afterall is an established contemporary art research and publishing group based at Central Saint Martins in its new King’s Cross site: an innovative building situated in a historic part of London. Afterall produces an internationally respected journal of art, context and enquiry, publishes several series of books and presents high-profile events in London and elsewhere.
This exciting role has arisen due to the recent expansion of Afterall. A number of prestigious new partnerships have brought further opportunities for development and we are therefore seeking to appoint a general manager with at least two years experience of efficiently coordinating art, research and/or publishing projects.
We are looking for someone with great initiative, excellent communication skills, familiarity with managing budgets, preparing accounts and putting plans into action. You will demonstrate a firm knowledge of contemporary art and have the confidence to manage and support the development of Afterall.
In return, University of the Arts London offers generous annual leave, a final salary pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. We provide an extraordinarily rich and diverse range of opportunities to learn, create, research and innovate, across a wide-ranging discipline.
